As Training Manager, you ensure high-quality and cost-conscious training deliveries, complying with legal requirements, business priorities and company rules. You will be responsible to coordinate the training needs of the business, whilst managing a proactive and engaged team. This position being’s opportunity to continuously learn and develop competencies in ensuring effective implementation of stakeholder management, leadership decision and development of training programs in collaboration with TLS (Total Learning Solutions) and external training providers. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when providing training expertise to Talent Developers and other internal stakeholders. You will be a partner to the management of the affiliate.

As well as being a people manager, you overall have the responsibility of setting a clear steer for training processes and ensure that all trainings are considered both organizational and individual needs. You are the one to support managers in prioritization between mandatory, recommended and optional trainings, ensuring cost commitments are respected. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with Group Training Policy and GDPR.

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:

Overall:
Ensure and facilitate that training path/ Individual Training Plan as part of the Better Together ambition is clearly communication and implemented for all employees and managers in TEPDK
Collaboration with Local Heads of Métier to create overview of mandatory and recommended safety and technical trainings per job role in the Métier, including cost for each training
Facilitate the development of individual training plans, and mobilize relevant expertise
Facilitate a training community with HSE department and local heads of métier for knowledge sharing and alignment on priorities
Trainings:
With you team, monitor and evaluate existing local training activities together with Training Owners
Set decision and direction for updates to trainings based on new legal requirements
Represents the company towards external training providers
Negotiate training rates with local training providers in cooperation with Procurement
Develop new and adjust current training offerings as required by the organization
Support training owners in introducing new training offerings in an effective way
Optimize training administration in collaboration with Finance departments
Provide financial and compliance reports on mandatory trainings, both in-class and e-learnings
Tools:
Support managers and Talent Developers on the global training options, including guidance, reporting, back office work, setting up local trainings, etc.
Make sure that the Loglevel system Learning Management System (LMS) in relation to offshore training requirements is in close collaboration with Field Ops Métier Support
Manage training records for employees, and ensure employees and organic contractors on offshore duty rooster have valid certificates in place

Lead role on OneMaestrro principle 6 Competencies and Training
Management reporting to TEPDK LT and HQ
Focal point for Safe-pass implementation in the different Métiers
Mobilizes additional specialist expertise in the area of competence assurance, when decided necessary
Focal point for the overall competency assurance processes run decentral

Your background
Degree or relevant work experience
5-10 years’ relevant experience
Good knowledge of competency management, personal development, training management and organization.
Proficiency in oral and written English, French is an advantage.
