MacGregor Global Services Division is looking for a trainer who will be responsible for Steering Gear and Hatch Covers product line related training for both internal and external customers globally. You can be based in any Global Services Division location.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Preparing and developing training courses and course materials for products in different technical levels
Performing training to internal and external customers globally (classroom, online, on equipment)
Developing and implementing digitalized training and tools (VR, AR, e-learning, etc.).
Keeping track of product-trained personnel and relevant personal certificates in our system
Developing and implementing training programs / processes
Registering and keeping updated relevant KPIs report
Preparing offers and order confirmations for customer-related courses.

What you’ll need to succeed:
Education

Relevant education in engineering field at Bachelor level or equivalent

Experience

Minimum five years in marine industry or relevant business/product experience
Technical background or knowledge of MacGregor products is preferred
Experience in a technical / commercial role in a service environment is preferred
Experience in field service jobs is an advantage
Previous experience as a trainer is considered an advantage.

Competencies

Good technical skills and product knowledge
Understanding of technical and operational use of the marine & offshore equipment
Knowledge of classification societies requirements, service process and documentation standards
Pedagogical skills and ability to transfer know-how / experience (technical writing / presentation)
Ability to prepare and develop training courses and materials
Ability in coordination and completion of courses, including experience in instructing
Very good analytical skills and high attention on details
Internal customer support and problem solving attitude
Strong IT skills (office software)
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
