Purpose of the position
Responsible for executing test, installation and commissioning activities on Site.
Comply with MacGregors and customers HSE policy to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to people, environments and assets.
Prepare detailed plan, execute and report all activities in the test, installation and commissioning phase.Key responsibilities:
Participate in mobilization meeting before traveling
Together with the Site team, draw up detailed plan in terms of scope, time and risk
Ensure that MacGregors detailed plan is synchronized with customers / shipyard plan
Execute test, installation and commissioning activities acc. to applicable procedures/ checklists and acc. to baselined plan
Work together with customer project organization and MacGregors Site team and report progress and risk
Carry out, and document Tool Box Talk and Safe Job Analysis
Maintain punch list and day by day service report
Ensure weekly external timesheet approval on Site
Registration of Deviations and Improvement proposals in Quality system
Prepare and register as built doc. according to current procedure
Participate in demobilization meetings to ensure that required documentation is signed and stored in the correct location after completed mission.Position requirements:
Education:
Education within automation, mechatronics or hydraulic or equivalent. Extensive experience from similar positions can compensate for formal education.
Experience:
Practical experience from commissioning of winch and/or deck handling equipment for the Maritime or Offshore industry is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant business/product experience Competencies:
Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Good computer skills
The position requires a structured and customer oriented person with good cooperation and technical skills.Key stakeholders:
Internal: Manager Test & Commissioning, Project Managers and Support functions
External: Interaction with Customers and Shipyards world-wide

The position involves extensive travel activity with interaction with domestic and international customers.
