We are searching for you who want to work in a dynamic organization with great commitment, customer focus and a cooperative culture.THE POSITIONYou will be part of a team of experienced engineers, designers and test technicians located at the headquarters in Karlskrona, where we have extensive resources for testing. You will manage projects where there is a need for planning, executing, analyzing and reporting test results. The tests are practical tests, such as fire, pressure or environmental tests, where the target in some cases is to achieve a certificate. You will be trained by a competent team and quickly become one of our experts in the field, and you will contribute to increasing the technical competence globally within the company. A lot of technical support questions and educational training will end up on your desk, and you will participate in different development projects. You will be located at the center of Roxtec’s operations and your contribution to the continuous growth of the company will be significant.It is important that you enjoy working in an environment where both quick tasks, such as support questions, and long-term strategic activities, such as planning a test series, occur simultaneously.Key responsibilities:Verifying product performance at internal test facilities but also at external accredited laboratoriesApplying for certificates at different classification societies within our business area Marine & OffshoreConverting technical data into practice, both communicatively and practicallyIdentifying future needs and requirements of customers as well as meeting the requirements of todaySupporting our global sales organization with your technical knowledge and expertiseBackgroundBroad technical knowledge. A university degree in mechanical engineering or similar.Fluent in English – both written and spoken. Be able to make yourself understood in Swedish. Other languages are a merit.Experience of managing projects and experience from the shipbuilding industry is a plus.We are looking for a driven engineer who likes to work both independently and in a team in a varied working environment.
