For our Global Process Engineering Nacelle department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, we are looking for an analytical and innovative Senior Production Engineer for New Product Introduction and New Plant set up projects.
How to contribute to our vision
Your key responsibilities will be setting up the shop floor documentation within manufacturing and documentation of implementing new- and redesigned products in the production worldwide.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as production, Technology, PMO, production tool & equipment development, quality and EHS.
Striving to deliver the best in class of implementation of new product and plant set up, your will be driving creating documentation close with our process engineers for how to assembly the wind turbine nacelle in a flowless and Lean production environment, with high focus on safety, quality and cost.
You will be responsible for following the prototype builds and ensuring the shop floor documentation are fulfilling all needed information and requirements. Ensuring quality review of documents created/updated by colleagues (technical editing and compliance check).
The technical writer role will be with focus on writing electrical documentation, but also be driving other activities as support in translation or localization into applicable target languages.
There is an expectation of 30-40 days travelling abroad pr. Year.

A structured team player with high communication skills, who thrives by securing that goals are met according to the schedule and strategy.
You have experienced in technical writing and translation in collaboration with engineers and technicians. Advanced user of MS Office with flair for IT tools and systems in general. Understanding the importance of adhering to safe working practices while producing high quality, clear and concise documentation. Able to communicate and collaborate with people across all organizational levels.
You possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams and you are good at collaborating with stakeholders at different areas of the organization
You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing
Desirable preferences
Experience working with Tech Pub Studio, together working with TeamCenter (DMS, CMS), topic-based authoring, CMS, XML. Advanced user of SDL Trados or similar computer assisted translation tool.
Familiar with Engineering Change Management in a global company.
