An exciting opportunity has arisen as Technical Project Lead in our Propulsion & Engines division at Kongsberg Maritime in Kristinehamn. You will be a part of a competent and positive team working with customization of propeller systems in new sales projects. The team are handling everything from development and interface adaptions, to detailed manufacturing drawings and customer relations. We are looking for an engineer who is interested in technical challenges. With determination and commitment, you are taking responsibility for leading the technical parts of our projects.

Key accountabilities

As Technical Project Lead you will have the overall technical responsibility for the delivery of propeller products and be our representative in technical matters. You have a close dialogue with our customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, this to maintain our high standard of delivery and make sure our products will meet our customers unique and specific needs. You work side by side with our Contract Managers, who has the commercial responsibility, and in close collaboration with colleagues from different divisions. In this position, you should find it motivating to have many projects and contacts ongoing in parallel. Some travelling to customers and suppliers worldwide may also be required.

Qualifications and experience

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering
  • High level of English, both written and oral
  • Experience from leading projects and/or working as design engineer is meritorious
