For our Offshore Product Portfolio Management department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an experienced and skilled people leader with an affinity for project and documentation management to support our endeavour to create the future market leading wind turbines.
How to contribute to our vision:
Our offshore turbines are at the forefront of driving down the cost of electricity from renewables. As our team lead for system and documentation development you will contribute to increasing our speed of development by implementing new and smarter tools and processes that allow us to be more efficient in the work we do. You will at the same time support our customers by driving speed and transparency in delivering high quality documentation fast and efficiently.
To do this you will have a team of dedicated and experienced specialists that work tirelessly to ensure that all internal and external stakeholders get the deliveries that they need on-time and in-quality. The team is very diverse consisting of different nationalities and varying backgrounds.
In addition, you will have the daily leadership for our team of product managers, who are in general on loan to the development products but require a dedicated leader to support them in their further development.
You will achieve the results together with your team, by both handling some tasks yourself directly and for other areas support your team to deliver on the tasks at hand. You will also be working closely with a large variety of stakeholders, as all aspects of the job have stakeholders along the entire value chain.
It is your jobs to continuously challenge the way we work and identify new opportunities for efficiency improvements and new tools. You will work closely with the management team in defining and executing initiatives to further enhance our efficiency.

All internal functions working in bringing the turbine from design to installation
What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
A motivating team player, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.
We are also looking for an authentic leader who takes pride in developing their team members and helping them grow within the role and even on to new roles. Someone that easily keeps an overview of multiple topics and their interconnections and interdependencies. A Team Lead that are always on the look-out for improvements and efficiency increases and who has a very structured approach to their assignments and is also able to help others create and define structures and transparent working methods. A person that thrives in a multi-cultural environment and is familiar with working in large organizations
We are looking for someone with stability, i.e. a horizon of 3-5 years in the role as a minimum, who has a passion for and experience with documentation and or process management; this can come from a related university degree or several years of experience within this field of work
It is expected that you have experience with people management or people development and have experience in or alternatively a keen interest in IT software and implementation of such. Programs relevant are Polarion, Aconex, Sharepoint/Workpoint and other document/content management systems. Furthermore, we expect that you have experience with setting up and creating processes and procedures.
It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
