You will be a Team Lead for highly skilled engineers, specialist and technical project managers, who work with technical and lead functions for selected core technology areas like castings, fasteners, yaw and pitch systems.How to contribute to our visionAs a team lead you will be developing the team by doing various tasks e.g. coaching, recruiting, 1to1 dialogues, continuous feedback of team members. Furthermore, as you are developing the team you will also create competence mapping and development plans for each individual team member and develop new future key employees. Your responsibilities will include:Overall responsible for team operations and performanceShape and execute team strategy in collaboration with manager and other Team Leads in departmentSupport your team members in their individual development and growthTeam development including recruiting, training and maintaining the right people with needed competencesHelping team members to scope work in projects and to facilitates the establishment and continuous development of technology roadmaps for defined KPI’s within defined core technology areasHandle priorities and team member allocation in collaboration with our sister departments, technical project managers and other functionsEnsure continuous development of methods, tools and processes in alignment with other domainsMaking sure deadlines within the team are kept and needed information is shared to relevant stakeholdersApproaching knowledge sharing across projects to ensure continuous improvementContinuous employee feedback and performance managementWhat you need to make a differencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.You have a relevant educational background and a strong technical mindset.. We will mainly be looking for candidates within the fields of civil engineering, wind power engineering, or mechanical engineering – preferably on MSc level or higher.You have existing experience in leading highly skilled specialists; either as line manager or as technical project manager. Furthermore, you have a proven people management understanding and preferably also experience working with people from a similar team lead or manager position.You must be able to set objectives and directions for you employees and keep yourself updated within the technical domain. You are used to working in a structured way and can help your team structure tasks and deliverables.Professional experience within the wind power industry, is not a must but preferable.You have a high degree of intercultural insight and can collaborate with people from many different cultures and with different technical areas of expertise.
