Do you want to be part of Well & Flow Control product teams, where we perform product engineering in New Product Development and Lifecycle Maintenance, Tenders, Project Execution and Life of Field and Product Performance.

Our product range includes products such as manifolds, foundation structures and connections systems, installation and intervention tooling and are core to all subsea production systems. It ensures safe drilling into the well, the well fluids are contained and the flow rate controlled at all time, enabling safe distribution of the hydrocarbons into pipelines for transport to the production facility. The complexity of these production systems requires a state-of-the-art toolbox that allows safe and efficient installation and intervention activities. Within Well & Flow Control we develop, qualify, engineer and deliver cost efficient configurable solutions.
Introduction to the Job
The main tasks for our new team member will be working on technical documentation, including maintaining and updating our product catalogues. Where possible you will be exposed to product- and project engineering activities. You will be assigned an experienced engineer as mentor, who will guide throughout your assignment.
Our product portfolio in Kongsberg consists of Intervention & Installation Tooling and Flow Control (Manifold- and Interconnection Systems). Exposure to Product Performance and improvements, Subsea Service operational support and Subsea Projects execution enable our engineers to develop skillsets and networks within multiple business segments of the oil and gas industry.

Profile requirements
Main requirements
Currently studying on your 2nd or 4th (penultimate) year at University Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
You have an attitude of taking initiative and proposing improvements is expected from you!
Nice to have
Expertise in use of MS office software and other relevant office applications
Basic knowledge of engineering design software
A positive and open attitude
A mentality of taking initiative, propose and implement improvements
