Digital Twin VR/AR/ 3D – “Real Collaboration in a less Physical World”
Climate Change and Covid-19 have changed the way we think about travel and physical meetings, but how can we still ensure collaboration and interaction to solve the challenges of tomorrow in a more sustainable way?

How can we improve on the Digital Transformation with remote operations, low /unmanned facilities and autonomy to improve on safe and efficient operations going forward? Or just train onshore & offshore workers on a complex mission beforehand with full focus on HSE.

In Kongsberg Digital an important part of the Digital Twin is our high-performance 3D engine Cogs. It can render high amount of complex 3D models by employing advanced geometry optimization and LOD (Level of Detail) algorithms. Cogs uses state-of-the-art material system to create shader-based materials for 3D models, that enables wide range of different visualization techniques.

We are now looking for 6 Internship positions for Summer 2021 that want to improve in this domain to create new efficient and highly useful tools for Kongsberg Digital’s Customers.
This opportunity will be great for you who are on your last year of a Bachelor or Master’s degree in programming/ software development or similar. However most importantly, we are looking for you who have a passion for using new technology to help solve complex problems.
Technologies we use are; Typescript, AngularJS, Javascript, Azure, Mongo DB, Node.js, Kubernetes, C++ or C#, 3D Studio Max.
