The successful candidate will be responsible safe and efficient operation subsea equipment, including maintenance inspection test and repair. The position will be a part of the Subsea Operations team, providing daily support to Assets.
Key accountabilities:Manage subsea system barriers and equipment health.Risk assessment and risk management relating to subsea equipment and interfacing systems.Plan, perform and analyse results from test, inspection, maintenance and monitoring activities.Ensure that test, inspection, maintenance and monitoring activities are performed as efficiently as practical.Ensure operational and intervention procedures and guidelines include best practice relating to subsea equipment.Identify degraded, damaged or failed equipment and manage fault finding, investigation, repair or replacement activity, including writing procedures and supervising work offshore.Manage defect elimination studies to ensure systematic learnings are identified and implemented to prevent reoccurrence of faults or failures.Provide input to project basis of design and functional specifications, provide operational input to project delivery and support efficient handover and start-up of new equipment.Identify improvement opportunities across disciplines and assets, including continuous improvement of strategies and work processes.Disciplined and systematic cost management for all Asset subsea budgets.
Qualifications and experienceMaster or Bachelor degree in relevant discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Process, Subsea or similar).Must be able to speak, read, and write English and Norwegian fluently.Some experience of subsea equipment and its operation.
