The Documentation Governance Offshore team leads a series of diverse projects to improve technical documentation processes in the organization. The team’s main task is to drive the documentation area in a visionary direction, where quality is high and lives up to customer and legal requirements, processes are optimized and automated, and tools and systems support all of that.
As a student worker in Documentation Governance Offshore, you will be part of an international team of documentation specialists and gain hands-on experience with a wide range of project-related tasks in a large global organization.
It is important for us to communicate our initiatives efficiently and make them easy to understand to get them implemented across the organization. Therefore, we need you on our team!
How to contribute to our vision
Besides being an active part of the team, in this role, you will be responsible for:
Writing articles in English for internal communication about our team’s initiatives
Designing visualizations of processes and simple icons/illustrations
Maintaining our internal communication site and internal communication channels
Styling well-structured and visually impressive presentations
Supporting on ad hoc tasks
What you need to make a difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance to lead the change. We are looking for someone who is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, ideally in communication design or similar. The candidate must be able to commit to 15-25 weekly working hours at Siemens Gamesa – the working hours can be flexible and arranged around your university schedule. To be successful in this role, you furthermore possess:
Strong overall communication skills as well as excellent verbal and written English skills
A proactive, independent, detail-oriented personality, with focus on delivering high quality on time
Solid understanding of and experience with creating effective and easy-to-understand communication materials in Office 365 programs, especially PowerPoint and preferably also Adobe Illustrator
