We are looking for a Student Assistant for our Operational Procurement Team.
As a Student Assistant, you will support the global procurement team in purchasing goods from all over the world and thereby assisting in timely execution of global projects.The position involves a wide range of tasks including:
The Requisition-to-Pay process, converting purchase requisitions to purchase orders
Expediting orders and matching invoices prior to payment.
Interface and coordinate with internal and external project team members and document communications between Semco Maritime, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
Receive, register, store and distribute all incoming documents and correspondences related to procurement in appropriate systems
Reporting for government statistics

Fluent in spoken and written English

Interest in the procurement process
The position requires approximately 15-20 hours a week between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Tasks will be coordinated with the team manager.
