You will support the global procurement team in purchasing goods from all over the world and thereby assisting in timely execution of global projects.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Converting purchase requisitions to purchase orders in the Requisition-to-Pay process
Expediting orders and matching invoices prior to payment
Coordinating with internal and external project team members and documenting communications between Semco Maritime, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
Receiving, registering, storing and distributing all incoming documents and correspondences related to procurement
Reporting for government statistics
Your profile & qualifications
We imagine that you are an outgoing, positive and service-minded student who is focused on delivering high-quality work. Furthermore, you should be self-motivated, organized and have a proactive mindset.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
Are undergoing a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
Have an interest in the procurement process in an international setting
Are fluent in written and spoken English
Possess excellent written communication skills
Can work around 15-20 hours a week
