As a Student Assistant in our Corporate Finance Department, you are going to be working approximately 15 to 20 hours a week within the timeframe 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday. Your primary place of work will be in our head offices at Esbjerg Brygge.“In Corporate Finance, we work with a wide range of tasks, where the right student assistant will have the opportunity for hands-on experience with accounting and financial analysis, Transfer Pricing, compliance with group policies, etc., in a global company.”

At Semco Maritime you will be part of the Corporate Finance Team, where you will be reporting directly to our Finance Manager. Our Corporate Finance team is globally responsible for reporting, annual accounts, transfer pricing, tax returns and so on.Your tasks and responsibilities

As a Student Assistant you will have a broad variety of tasks, they can for example include but are not limited to:
Optimizing existing reports
Assisting in the implementation of future BI
Assisting with master data management
General finance and accounting tasks
Assisting with tax and transfer pricing documentation
Ad-hoc tasks
Your qualifications and skills
We expect you to be:
Undergoing a relevant education at bachelor level
Fluent in Danish and English, written and orally
An experienced user of MS Office at a high level, particularly Excel
Analytical with a strong sense of working with numbers and data
Structured, persistent, independent and service-minded
Former experience working with finance or bookkeeping, reconciliations and accounting analysis is by no means a requirement but is an advantage.
