Our department has the responsibility to develop and design hub modules, from concepts to tested and verified products to finally handover the final product to serial production. We are looking for a skilled engineer who are interested in working in a diverse development team, closely cooperating with the surrounding business.The team will be based in Brande, Midtjylland DK, where we have our technology center, with cooperation partners and co-workers mainly based in Denmark and India.How to contribute to our visionYou will be involved in developing hubs for the next generations of wind turbines keeping up with their steady increase in size, weight and the exciting challenges as a result of this. This position requires you to work with areas such as structural calculations, both extreme and fatigue, of primarily steel, cast iron and aluminum structures using FEA and analytical methods according to Eurocode, certified guidelines, etc. Performing dynamic evaluations and investigations and further provide inputs for field and prototype testing. You will be a part of a high performing team where you together with them will ensure that needed updates are implemented in design basis and design tools and you will be a part of write, create and deliver certification packages. Lastly, you will get the possibility to optimize existing designs, FE tools and way of working for us to be in the front.What you need to make a differencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
