Structural Engineer – Floating Offshore Structures

Local Unit & Position Description: Due to an increasing demand for our services, particularly within offshore wind and offshore fish farms, we want to supplement our team of structural engineers with a new colleague. We are seeking a candidate with a few years of experience, but you are also welcome to apply if you have recently graduated or will graduate soon.Floating Offshore Structures is the main unit in DNV for structural design review with respect to global and local strength of mobile offshore units (MOUs), typically;wind turbine installation unitsfloating wind millsoffshore fish farmsship-shaped units (production, storage and offloading, well intervention and drilling)semi-submersiblesjack-upsThe above activities are mainly related to newbuilding but also includes conversions and modifications of existing units.DNV is a leading Classification Society for MOUs and our unit is currently involved in the design review of several ongoing and upcoming large projects worldwide.
