We are looking for a new Structural Engineer. You will be a key player in approaching the next generations of challenges within the Engineering Equipment (EQ) department who has the global responsibility of creating all equipment for storage and transportation of the offshore wind turbines.
EQ takes care of defining the project specific equipment for all execution projects with all the project specific challenges in mind.
You will be a part of a strong and dedicated team composed by a group of engineers with various specialties ensuring that all necessary issue in a given execution project is dealt with. The strongest tool for this to succeed is teamwork.

The Engineering Equipment team is driven to deliver the best possible solution or concept in the market with focus on safety, innovation and cost effectiveness. Thereby the team support Siemens Gamesa to deliver first class solutions and products to the customers.
Among others you will have following responsibility:
Structural verification of transport, lifting and storage equipment both conceptual and detailed.
Advise clients, projects and suppliers in technical solutions for equipment designs and operation, lifting analysis and instructions, transportation and storage methods.
You are comfortable in using ROBOT, ANSYS or similar, MATLAB or similar, Advanced excel and Mathcad
Contribute to engineering task across MSDS&E e.g. Advanced Topics.
You will work with many different interfaces and have stakeholder and project management responsibility for different Geotechnical related tasks.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
You have a technical education at MSc level. For the position it will be beneficial if you have an analytical approach and knowledge of offshore wind projects and an extensive experience with steel design.
It is key that you have an open- and proactive mindset with strong strategic and analytical skills. You have a drive and motivation for Renewable Energy and have a result and quality-orientated approach. At the same time, you are a dedicated team player with the ability to manage and motivate smaller teams to perform successfully and find solutions when it is required.
You will be part of an exciting multi-cultural environment and need to be strong in English communication written as well as verbally.
