URGENTLY REQUIRED – FOR TIME-LIMITED EMPLOYMENT ASAP.
We are looking for an experienced stowage coordinator, preferable with experience from stowage of containers. The position is time limited (6 months) but may be extended depending on requirements. If you are located in proximity of Århus, Gdynia or Copenhagen – you can work from our office, but it is possible to work from home too.
You
are available for employment now
have practical experience with stowing containers
have maritime experience or background – preferably navigator
can keep your head cool when many vessels are waiting for stowage plans
take pride in finding solutions to getting all containers on board
are fluent in English, both in writing and verbally
understand the importance of constructive communication in your daily work
About the job
The job consists mainly of planning the stowage of the containers on board Unifeeder’s vessels, as part of a team, consisting of five other competent ship planners / coordinators. We use the Seacos (MACS 3 / StowMan) stowage program. The department is characterized by an informal and direct tone in a dynamic environment, where deadlines and sailing plans mean that things sometimes move fast. A structured approach across national borders, colleagues, terminals, and ships helps to ensure high quality.
