A tailor-made combination of practical “on the job” training supplemented by selected technical training courses for a duration of 24 months in the frame of a permanent contract
Be part of a committed team and participate in challenging and meaningful business relevant projects in domestic and international assignment locations
Clear and competent technical supervision from senior staff, proactive support from mentors and SPEAD coordination
Technical tasks within our SPEAD-Programme for Drilling & Well Engineers:
Wellsite Orientation Phase – hands-on rig experience, land operation, jack-ups and semi subs
Intensive Wellsite Phase (Wellsite Engineer) – shadowing the rig crew and wellsite service contractors on all aspects of the wellbore construction process
Working in several Business Units as well as in the headquarter in an office and wellsite-environment with the aim to gain in-depth knowledge in Well Design, Drillstring Design, Casing and Cementing, Mud Program, Completion Design, Well Test, IWCF Level 4, etc.
Completing project tasks in a planning team, involving topics of the entire Drilling & Completion life cycle, from initial well design to testing and final well execution
Interactive co-operation with other disciplines such as Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir and Production Engineering

Master degree, equivalent or PhD (E&P relevant)
University study completed within a reasonable time frame and demonstrable academic achievement
At least one E&P relevant internship
Fluent written and spoken English language skills, Proficiency in another foreign language would be an advantage. Norwegian is preferred in addition to Spanish, or Russian
International experience (internship / study abroad, school exchange would be an advantage
Strongly developed social and interpersonal skills
High flexibility and willingness to work internationally with a strong connection to residing in Norway where the position will be based after completion of the program
