Main tasks and responsibilities:Together with the Senior Manager Sourcing, be responsible for the development and execution of the Offshore Solutions Divisions (OSD) sourcing strategy
Drive Material Cost Reduction initiatives in designated projects
Provide sourcing and order fulfillment support to Business Lines
Identify and develop suppliers to meet Quality, Delivery, Cost & Innovation requirements
Optimize supplier portfolio to support business lines need for cost reduction and footprint
Streamline and harmonize strategic supply and supplier bases for respective Business Line
In cooperation with R&D, Quality and other functions, identify and evaluate supplier base, and search for new suppliers where applicable
Continuously monitor market developments to initiate corrective actions when needed
Liaison with Category Sourcing and provide updated market intelligence information
Act as Supplier Relationship Manager with assigned suppliers
Develop and maintain agreements with the suppliers
Ensure the suppliers comply with the terms and conditions of the agreements
Develop workflow and logistic models with suppliers and partners
What you’ll need to succeed:University degree (MSc / BSc), Commercial, Technical (E&I) or equivalent
Extensive experience and proven track record may compensate for some missing formal education
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from procurement, sourcing and supply management within Electric component categories in special, as well as the Mechanic- and Hydraulic categories in general
Experienced negotiator with good communication skills and proven results
Experience in working with product cost optimization
Experience with category strategy implementation
Wide supplier network with knowledge and understanding of alternative solutions
Knowledge of Cargotec products and supplier base is an advantage
Fluent in both written and spoken English
