All of us are specialised in different areas of electrical engineering. TOGETHER, WE DESIGN THE FUTURETo succeed as a Solar Systems Specialist, you thrive in organising and leading the development of our competences in relation to utility scale solar PV projects. You have a high degree of initiative and bring a structured and dedicated approach to your work. You are flexible and open-minded, possess a good sense of humour and enjoy the social work environment. Excellent English language proficiency is a must, and you are effective in composing complex technical documentation.We imagine our new Solar System Specialist has a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, and preferably holds a B.Sc. or M.Sc., within Electrical Engineering. Furthermore, you have strong experience in using PVSYST to estimate energy yields and assess plant performance.Furthermore, you have in-depth experience with the topics listed below:Due diligence processes in relation to large scale solar plantsSolar plant optimization, in aspects such as DC/AC ratio, pitch and tilt selection and racking solutionsBasic system design, e.g. single line diagrams with main electrical components in DC and medium voltage AC circuitsOwner’s engineering functions for design and construction phases of several solar plants larger than 20 MW eachVerification of grid code compliance and the development of equipment strategies to ensure grid compliance using inverters, batteries, filters, STATCOMs etc.Understanding, but not necessarily design capabilities, of the basic civil engineering issues involved in a large-scale solar plant such as drainage, foundation, and mechanical designInsights in the project development process of large-scale solar projects when starting from a green field situationDO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?For further information, please feel free to contact Department of Wind Energy and Renewables Management, Head of Section, Lars Viggo Hansen.
