Description
Are you interested to build software for remote controlled and autonomous maritime vessels? We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with a genuine passion for software craftmanship resulting in excellent quality. You will find your permanent role within our growing inhouse software development team developing modern systems for Remote Operation Centre’s within Kongsberg Maritime, Remote Operation Solutions team in Turku.
As part of the team you will participate in all software development phases, yet your focus will be on evolving the automated testing around of software product.
Key Accountabilities
Develop testing practices related to the Remote Operation CenterDesign, implement and test solutions in an agile mannerEnhance the software development process and practices together with the team
Key Experiences and Qualifications
Relevant M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering, technology or other suitable area, or equivalent technical capability based on practical knowledge and experienceGood experience of planning and implementing test pipelinesKnowledge of modern test automation – tools and best practicesRobot Framework, python and C++ experienceAttention to detailStrong technical expertise in software engineeringExperience in developing in Linux environmentsGood peer communication skills in English
Desired additional skills
Knowledge about maritime industryExperience in devops practicesFinnish and Swedish/Norwegian communication skillsAzure DevOps knowledgeDocker knowledge
