We are now looking for a Software Developer to join us in Tampere.You will be a member of our team developing digital software products for our customers and building data driven web and mobile applications in agile teams. You appreciate working in a cross-functional setup and engaging with various internal and external stakeholders, ranging from developers and data scientists to designers and business owners. Depending on your interests and experience, your responsibilities may range from implementing robust backend services to building front-end applications with clean and intuitive user interfaces to doing full-stack development. Some of the main technologies used in the team include Node.js, React and Python. You are able to communicate effectively when analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues together with other developers and stakeholders.Our ideal candidate has:A few years of hands-on full-stack development experience
Pragmatic and proactive attitude to get things done in a usable, maintainable and performant way
Good collaboration skills to solve problems in a rapidly changing environment together with designers, developers and customers
Eagerness to learn new technologies
Ability to work in a diverse environment and working together with a team towards a common goal
Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
M.Sc (Eng.) or B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Additionally, we appreciate:
Experience with some of the following: React or other modern JavaScript framework, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, React Native, PostgreSQL
Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Git, NPM
Experience in Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration process and tools
Experience in all phases of a software project lifecycle.

Our recruitment process in a nutshell:
There are four phases: Brief call, 1st interview, technical assignment and 2nd interview. First two phases focus on getting to know each other, letting you know what we do here at DiSH and how you would fit into our team. The two latter phases focus more on the technical know-how and requirements.
