Description

We are looking for a Service Technician for our platforms within DanTysk and Sandbank, which are located 90 km west of Sylt within German waters.

Your job as Service Technician
You will become an important and permanent part of our operations & maintenance-organization.
You will participate in operational & maintenance tasks on the Accommodation Platform and the Offshore Substations in the windfarms DanTysk and Sandbank.
You will be attached to the operational organization and you will work in job rotation on the platforms under a German employment contract. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

Troubleshooting and maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
Working with colleagues or customers to determine the possible source of machinery problems and define what need to be solved.
Utilizing technological devices to complete tasks on mechanical and electrical systems within a databased maintenance system.
Participating in trainings and continuing education to expand skillsets for a complex work environment
Handling cargoes and goods and supporting logistics with warehouse keeping
Operating cranes
Occupying key roles in our Emergency Response Organization
Maintaining a large collection of tools and devices for repairing and testing
Keeping the assets in good condition by excellent house keeping
Completing our team for helicopter operations as HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer) / HDA (Helideck Assistant)
Performing regular certifications or inspections in accordance to industrial safety regulations (BetrSichV & DGUV).
Supporting other departments in the vast variety of tasks in our daily windfarm operations

Your profile as a Service Technician
Open, positive and safety orientated mindset
Certification as industrial / ship mechanic or equivalent
Minimum five years of working experience in your trained job.
Experience with operating cranes and other heavy machineries
Experience in an offshore or maritime working environment
Experience with fault finding in complex electrical and mechanical systems
Proficiency in reading PID, Manuals and fault finding
Experience with successful completion of work tasks, which are performed in an international and hectic environment with great focus on safety
German / English language skills, written and verbal
Willing to work in a shift pattern 14 days on, 14 days off shift.
Readiness to take required offshore trainings according to GWO
Medical fitness according to AWMF
