We are seeking someone special to help sell our story by generating great publicity for us.

We are looking for a Senior Publicist to join our Marketing team. The location for this position can be either Hamburg, Germany or Helsinki, Finland.

The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of the principles of effective external communications and the innate ability tell a good story!
In This Role, You Will Be Tasked With

Writing attention grabbing press releases and media pitches.
Planning and executing publicity campaigns.
Overseeing media monitoring & reporting
Producing press events.
Working together with our experts and thought leaders to formulate compelling speeches.
Sourcing the hottest stories from colleagues.
We Are Looking For Someone With
Impeccable, native-level English writing skills.
Strong creative flare to bring our news pieces to life - inspiring existing and new audiences.
Inner confidence and ability to hold their own, while simultaneously applying emotional intelligence to rally the troops as we embark on a ‘One Voyage’ journey.
You should have the nose of a news hound; the ability to sniff out a cracking story and connect it to trending topics out there in the media.
Possess an ‘anchors aweigh!’ attitude towards trying new things.

An ideal candidate will also possess

Proven ability to turn out a good story and experience with press releases/due processes.
A solid understanding of the work involved in cultivating strong media relations.
While maritime experience is not mandatory, it would help if you know something about the industry.
Should be interested in the latest Smart Tech developments.
