Energy International is looking for a Proposal Manager to manage proposals within our offshore wind business and subsequentially enable COWI to continue its exponential growth in the market. There is an ocean of opportunities ahead for us – if we do it right. As part of the Wind and Renewables unit in our Energy International division, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our resources for managing and delivering proposals within offshore wind. You will collaborate closely with senior Business Developers, offshore wind specialists and clients to ensure a streamlined proposal

You will join COWI's international energy division, where more than 450 skilled energy and marine experts work with solutions supporting the green transition and climate adaptation agenda. Working as one strong team, we plan, design, and optimise the future energy systems together with our customers and colleagues, to meet the ever-increasing need of smart solutions to reduce climate change impacts. We focus on a balanced customer portfolio of contractors and owners to whom we pursue a two-track service delivery focus of highly specialised design services and expansion into project management/owners engineering consultancy services.

JOIN OUR WIND AND RENEWABLES TEAM
To succeed as our Proposal Manager, you are comfortable in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, interpersonal skills must therefore be one of your strengths. You possess the ability to swiftly comprehend and analyse clients' needs and challenges in the tender material, and subsequently integrate this information as a clear part of the proposal. It is crucial that the client experiences the proposal as a solution to their challenges. Strong communicative skills are a must for this position, and it will be an advantage if you have a flair for visual design and layout. This is a multi-faceted position critical to overall business segment and industry success, you are therefore able to ensure that proposal are best-in-class, consistent with our messaging, positioning, and brand guidelines.
Key tasks in the position includes the following:
Effectively manage complex tenders and tailor value creating proposal responses.
Work with multiple internal stakeholders, from technical specialist to senior Business Developers.
Continually develop and enhance our proposal tools, e.g., templates, design approach, layout etc.
Furthermore, you should resemble the following:
Hold a relevant academic degree.
Knowledge about the energy sector, and preferably the renewable energy sector.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in business administration, business development and proposal management.
An interest in understanding the differences in business and culture across countries.
The ability to seamlessly switch between multiple ongoing proposals.
Ability to prioritize and align to business needs and shifting organizational priorities.
Experience in planning tools like Primavera, is an advantage but not a requirement.
