Do you want to be part of reducing the Greenhouse Gas Reduction (GHG) emissions on MAN two-stroke & four-stroke small bore engines in service? Do you have what it takes to lead the overall development and commercialization of MAN Energy Solutions’ EEXI and CII solutions with high focus from top management? If so, please apply for the position as our new Senior Product Manager!What am I going to do?Next step on our agenda is to develop solutions to achieve the goals set out in the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) GHG strategy. These are two new measures: the technical requirement to reduce carbon intensity, based on a new Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI); and the operational carbon intensity reduction requirements, based on a new operational carbon intensity indicator (CII). Currently the project consists of more than ten Work Streams with assigned project managers in Denmark and we work close together with our colleagues in Augsburg, Germany.More specifically, you will:Be overall project management responsible for the EEXI/CII project in DenmarkLead, support and motivate the EEXI/CII project organizationEnsure all work streams of the project are following the project timelineResponsible for reporting progress to the steering committeeResponsible for resource allocation in work streamsFacilitate workshops to scope, implement, anchor and realize projectsEnsure the outcome of the project is properly anchored in our organizationWho am I?You are an experienced product manager with exceptional and proven project management experience who can ensure that the overall project is navigated safely towards the goal. You are used to and thrive in a busy working environment where you have a lot on your plate. You have minimum 5-7 years of experience in leading complex projects in a matrix organization.You will come with a bachelor; master or equivalent in a relevant field e.g. Engineering, Science or similar. Your project management skills are on an high level and you are used to communicating with both internal and external stakeholders with your excellent English skills in both speaking and writing.We imagine that you:Excel the project management toolbox and can navigate in a complex organizationPossess knowledge of Project Management methodologies, e.g. Waterfall & AgilePossess strong drive, are self-driven with a proactive initiative-taking approachPreferably hold a project management certification e.g. Prince2, PMI, IPMA or equivalentExperience with going to market with new products is a clear advantageExperience with product management and introducing new productsStrong commercial awareness and good technical understandingExperience within the marine industry is an advantageHow is my new team/area of business?You will be part of the Product Development & Execution department in Retrofit & Upgrade. The product managers are maturing/developing new retrofit & upgrade solutions. The project managers are executing all the orders we receive from the standard Retrofit & Upgrade product portfolio. We are a diverse team of skilled and dedicated people, focusing on product management and project management. Your future colleagues are situated in Holeby, Frederikshavn and Copenhagen. We have a professional approach to our work, while having a humorous, casual and positive environment in the team.
