Development and Production Norway (DPN) is, an operator and partner on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS); responsible for managing the NCS resources in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner; to create value for our owners, suppliers and the people of Norway. Equinor has today a solid position on the NCS.

We have fields of all sizes, from giants such as Troll, Statfjord and Gullfaks, to small fast-track projects tied to existing infrastructure. Equinor’s ambition is to ensure at least 60% recovery from the NCS. Our products are marketed and sold on the global market, and our production has made Norway one of the world’s leading oil and gas exporters. Our top priority is safe, efficient and sustainable operation to pursue our long-term profitable production from the NCS.

We are looking for pro-active and experienced automation engineers both within project development and operation and maintenance of our offshore installation within:

• Safety and Automations Systems

• Participate in operations, maintenance and modifications within Safety and Automation Systems (SAS). Planning, programming, configuration and testing

• Troubleshoot and handle unplanned events

• Participate in operation projects, modifications within Field Instrumentation and Safety and Automation Systems (SAS)

• Complete Tasks within Technical Integrity: barrier management and risk understanding

• Support operation and maintenance projects

• Plan and ensure satisfactory quality of tasks

• Ensure co-operation between offshore installations, organisation onshore and vendors.Qualifications• MSc or BSc within Automation or Field Instrumentation

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experiences from oil- and gas industry within Automation or Field Instrumentation

• Understanding of adjoining subject areas and interfaces

• Fluency in English and Norwegian, both oral and written

• Good knowledge of requirements within Automation

• Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.Personal Qualities• Understand and manage risk
