Your position
As our new Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take part in delivering a variety of electrical solutions withinprojects related to Windcarrier`s, special vessel and in general floating and mobile units. You will work in accordance with the applicable procedures and standards within the cost budgets and the project schedule targets. You will operate with a high degree of independence, and you will be participating in decision making.
You will be part of a team of 13 fantastic and competent colleagues. You will report to John K. Andersen, Team Lead.

Your tasks & responsibilities
You will be responsible for producing adequate specifications, calculations, drawings, and other pertinent engineering and design documentation to enable the procurement, installation, commissioning, and safe operation of electrical equipment as part of multidiscipline brownfield modifications.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Designing and engineering electrical projects
  • Managing and controlling projects
  • Financing and budgeting projects
  • Choosing materials to purchase
  • Executing documentation of the tasks

Your profile & qualifications
As a person we imagine that you are structured and self-motivated. You are a good team-player and always eager to develop junior colleagues. You are effectively managing multiple tasks, but at the same time you are very attentive to the details. Working under tight schedule is not a problem for you, because you are always open to the new challenges!

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

  • Education as an electrician, degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in electrical engineering within different size projects
  • Experience in oil and gas or marine fields, preferably from offshore or shipyards
  • Fluency in written and verbal English
  • Great project management and communication skills
