DNV is now looking for Consultants to join the Field Development & Operations Section in Stavanger. The Section, which currently comprises 12 experienced cross-disciplinary individuals, is growing to better support DNV customers succeed with their development projects within traditional oil and gas and within renewable energy.Energy companies in Norway continue to invest substantially, both in new field developments and in renewable energy developments, to grow cashflow and strengthen profitability. DNV’s role is to be a technical and risk advisory expert partner, helping customers to succeed in reaching their business targets, without compromising safety for people and the environment. There will be high field development activity on the NCS in the coming years. Renewable energy developments such as offshore wind and hydrogen are emerging, and DNV is involved in the energy transitions at several levels. We have a clear ambition to increase our involvement in field developments and renewable energy development projects, based on a strengthening of our local presence.DNV has 150 employees in Stavanger, where 70 are working within advisory & verification services for the Energy industry. Consultants will join the Field Development & Operations Section, working closely with Energy companies and other key customers. They will be collaborating with specialists from other DNV units holding strong domain expertise related to development projects, modification projects and operation of assets.The Section is also building dedicated expertise and capacity within;• Project & Operations Risk Management• Quality & HSE Management• Maintenance & Integrity Management• Regulations & Compliance• Facilitation of Processes & WorkshopsThe successful candidate will have a deep understanding of challenges in projects and operations, to be able to develop solutions to customer needs. The Consultant will draw upon relevant technical expertise within the Field Development & Operations Section but will also cooperate closely with other units in DNV. The Section’s close collaboration with others, combined with an ability to understand the customer’s value-creation process, are key to the Section being able to secure broader and deeper roles with our customers. The Consultant will be expected to play an active part in this process. To qualify you must have:Several years of relevant work experienceOil & Gas or Energy domain knowledgeExperience from field development & operationsUnderstanding quality and risk management processes in projectsUnderstanding of customers’ value creating processesRelevant sales & consulting experience, including project management skillsFacilitation skillsMasters-level qualification in a relevant technical disciplineFluent English & Norwegian is required Personal Qualities:Accountable, self-motivated and result-orientedStrategic with a strong solution-oriented mindsetStrong communication skills and networking abilitiesCommitment to DNV’s values and expectationsWe Offer:A meaningful job with one of Norway’s most attractive employers.
