Senior Claims Executive, Offshore Wind
GARD is seeking a Senior Claims Executive/Engineer - Offshore Windfarms
The position and key responsibilities
In view of growth in our insurance portfolio for offshore windfarms, we wish to recruit a Senior Claims Executive with suitable technical skills to handle claims as well as support our underwriters and risk assessment functions.
The successful candidate will join a team that will deliver the insurance solutions and services that our members and clients need in respect of valuable assets underpinning the global energy transition.
A strong engineering/technical background from offshore wind construction, installation and operation will be preferred. Experience from risk engineering and safety management will be beneficial.
A deep understanding of offshore wind assets and operations, as well as contractual and regulatory regimes within the sector, would be considered valuable.
The role will be part of an Offshore Energy Claims function with resources in our Oslo and Arendal offices. The right candidate may work in either location yet collaborate with teams across in other Gard offices globally.
The role may include support to our risk assessment and underwriting activities, including customer and broker meetings or participation in industry fora. Traveling for business purposes may be required.
The role requires strong written and oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. The work language is English.
