Description
We experience high activity in the market and need to expand our team with one more Technical Advisor in the Marine Robotics department in Kongsberg Maritime. In this role you will solve technical challenging cases regarding our Autonomous underwater vehicles, unmanned surface vessels and sensors . You will have the opportunity to work with world leading products, used for oil and gas , military and ocean science applications.
Our goal is to provide the best possible support and follow-up throughout the entire life cycle of the systems, to our customer's full satisfaction.
Key accountabilities:
Technical assistance and support to customers
Close follow-up of assigned customers
Technical assistance to Sales and Sister offices
Remote Supervision and operator assistance
Participate in 24h duty phone service
Experience/qualifications:
Degree in electronics or computer science
Understanding of sonar imaging and/or signal processing
Experience from offshore operations, survey or navigation is an advantage
Knowledge of Underwater Acoustic products used in AUV (Autonomous underwater Vehicles), and sensors used on USV (Unmanned Surface Vessel) is an advantage
Good communication skills in English
