The core of Yxney´s activities is to provide our clients with unique insight to reduce operational footprint; create emissions transparency and industry collaboration. With our main product Maress we provide data analytics and visualization, used by some of the most advanced vessel owners and leading energy companies in the world to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable energy future. We call it data-driven decarbonisation.
The maritime industry is changing fast, with ambitious emission targets and requirements set by IMO; EU; national authorities; industry organizations - and not to mention pressure from stakeholders such as financial institutions, ports, charterers, potential employees. New technologies and fuels are coming into the market. In this dynamic landscape many ship owners are looking for answers - both on how to optimize their operations, as well as how to adapt to the changing business drivers. The Yxney decarbonisation advisory team will be in a unique position to provide such answers.
Role tasks and responsibilities include:
Working closely with clients in setting up decarbonisation projects and providing advice based on data analytics and market insight
Use network and market screening to create business opportunities for advisory and data-driven services
Achieve tangible emission reductions for customers, and build strong relationships with clients
Strategic market communication on topic of maritime decarbonisation
Required experience and skills:
10+ years of relevant experience from maritime industry and strategy processes, working in/closely with vessel owners and/or energy companies
Higher education
Proven track record of using data and insight to drive change in organizations
Experience with ESG and sustainability is a plus

A natural knack for business development and creating opportunities
