We are now looking for an Electrical engineer and a Boat engineer with a mechanical or naval background, who will participate in, and lead innovation projects from idea to commercialization within our Boat and Davit product area. VIKING is the leading provider of such safety solutions in the Offshore, Merchant Marine and Renewable Energy sector.
In the role, you will be a key member of our Products & Technology team in Arendal, cooperating with colleagues all over the world. You will be in charge of improving and maintaining product documentation in accordance with latest international regulations and standards.

Qualifications & Personal Attributes (Electrical Engineer)
Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering or related technical engineering field (Renewable Energy, Mechatronics etc.) and a strong focus on business development and innovation, is preferred
Professional experience from oil and gas industry or related industry, but newly graduated are also encouraged to apply
Experience and understanding of technology and engineering practices
Being able to communicate effectively, collaborate across different levels of an organization and build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Be Responsible, Committed and Globally oriented
Good communication skills in English
