You will join a team of highly specialised and motivated employees located in our technical Control & Protection team in Renewables business area, where we have constructed one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations in Northern Europe. Our Offshore Wind markets include Europe, Asia and the USA, which means that you can expect to be involved in projects worldwide. Further we also have varying tasks for Danish utility companies, as you also occasional will be involved in.
You may choose between working from our head office in Esbjerg (Denmark), from our Ballerup (Denmark) office in the greater Copenhagen area or Gdynia (Poland), whatever is the most convenient location for you.
The job will involve some travelling to other Semco Maritime offices, sub-suppliers and occasional to sites.
You will ensure that all SCADA project-related tasks are completed meeting our high-quality standards, in time and within project contracts.
Your key roles and tasks will include:
Lead design and engineering of SCADA, Protection and Control systems in cooperation with internal specialists for each area.
Knowledge or interest in working with common database engineering software solution (COMOS) for electrical engineering.
Through interactions with customers and Semco Maritime team, you can create proposals, technical solutions and project documentation that meet the expectations on multidiscipline projects.
Responsible for securing technical requirements and interfaces from internal and external stakeholder within deadlines.
Follow-up on subcontractors designs and securing technical requirements and interfaces management.
Handling supplier agreements, negotiations and contracts in cooperation with the project management and procurement department.
Participate in execution and sign-off of factory (FAT) and site (SAT) tests are carried out with end customers, aligned and according to the overall project plan.
Your profile
We expect you have a relevant technical education as bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineer or similar with experience in SCADA, automation, protection, control and/or electrical power systems. Experience from the utility sector or offshore wind industries is an advantage, but not an ultimate requirement.Interested?
