Academic Work is currently looking for a SaaS Sales Manager for our international client company – a highly-skilled and growing start-up driving the digitalization of the shipping industry. This position is ideally based in Finland but work can be done remotely anywhere in Europe. Please read more below!
About the role
As SaaS Sales Manager you will become a part of Finnish start-up consisting of ten ambitious colleagues and many more to come. You will help the company at building their market position by being responsible for the entire sales funnel from the initial contact up until closing the deal. After the contract has been signed, you will work closely together with the internal Support team to ensure high quality customer experience. Your focus will be on the market of Nordic countries, Great Britain, Germany and Netherlands so the position includes travelling.

Job duties
As Sales Manager you will take care of the entire sales process:
Contacting the decision makers at maritime companies
Building business relationships and keeping in contact with potential clients
Closing sales
Co-operating with the internal support team to take good care of the existing customers
We are looking for
Relevant educational background
Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS (Software as an service) sales
Experience in CRM systems and sales funnel
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Readiness to travel
Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English
Previous sales experience in an international and/or industrial market is considered an advantage.

Start: Based on agreement

Work extent: Permanent contract
