For our Technical Functions Department within our Offshore R&D organization based in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a dedicated Risk Management Engineer with knowledge of wind turbine installation.

How to contribute to our vision
You will work closely with the Offshore Technology Design department and DBI – The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology – to ensure overall safety during the installation of our turbines and the development of fire risk assessments.
You will act as a facilitator between Siemens Gamesa and DBI.
Your responsibilities will include:
Risk Assessment and HSE reviews on work instructions and checklists
Onsite presence during installation prototypes, pre-rehabilitation HSE activities
Fire Risk Assessment” and collaboration / facilitation with Chief engineers and the DBI’s development work
Facilitate and support in development work to ensure fireproof designs
Facilitate and support in Design Risk Assessments in development work
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for a person with a technical educational background combined with minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
You have a natural flair for machine safety and safety in general. In addition, you should have experience working with risk assessment and knowledge of installation & safety requirements for wind turbines.
More specifically, your responsibilities will be to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Thus, you should possess good communication skills. Furthermore, you will be responsible for structuring and planning properties.
Lastly, we assume you have strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing. If you speak Danish, it will be considered an advantage
