Job Summary
This role predominantly uses telephone, email and instant messaging channels to make outbound, proactive contact with customers to build and maintain relationships that drive sales. It is focused on meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets for activity and sales.
The role is preferably located in Ålesund, but can be discussed.
Duties and responsibilities
Develops and implements a customer contact plan for assigned customers, customer portfolio or sector contacts, to communicate product launches and engage potential customers in relevant sales campaigns and build new relationships
Sets clear objectives for each sales contact; uses standard materials to make presentations to the customer; asks relevant questions to evaluate the customer’s level of interest, identifying and responding to areas requiring further information or explanation
Identifies the products or services that best meet customer stated needs
Identifies potential customers by obtaining information, referrals and recommendations from existing customers
Schedules follow-up actions and enters relevant information into the CRM system
Prioritises own workflow and ensures work is completed to the required standards for productivity, quality and timeliness

Speaks and writes English and Norwegian fluently
Experience and qualification
High school or further education college education
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience within sales and customer support, preferably within the maritime industry
