Repair Operations is based in Lem where we have over 3200 m2 of production facilities. We have over 40 employees in several departments. This is a permanent position in our production team in Lem with 10 other people. The production area spans a wide range of different repairs on blades, nacelles and others. Defective wind turbine blades are delivered to us, renovated and then transferred to either our service warehouse or back to our customers.
You would be reporting to department's team leader and be involved the professional dialogue/coordination with the Area Manager
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will be working with fiberglass. Working on blades, which will involve everything from disassembly of bearings, cleaning, repair of any kind, paint, as well as assembly. In addition, you will repair damage to nacelles or other fiber parts to a wind turbine.
Qualifications
Similar to rest of the team, we expect you to have experience working with fiberglass and polyester possibly a relevant education.
Furthermore:
Having experience in work in a production environment is beneficial
Exposure to Glass fiber, Carbon fiber, Epoxy resin also experience with Polyester resin would be advantageous
Epoxy certificate, forklift certificate and crane certificate is appreciated
Good English skills are required, as English is Vestas corporate language

What We Offer
You will be part of the operational repair team consisting of 10 skilled colleagues who work on day shifts at. 07:00-15:20 from Monday to Thursday and 07:00-13:15 on Fridays.
