Local Unit & Position Description:

The Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region in the Digital Solutions business area delivers several software products and services across the Plant, QHSE, Pipeline and Renewables markets. We have a diverse team of 120 people located throughout the EMEA region. Our revenue is approximately 400 MNOK, with the Plant Product Line having a revenue of 200 MNOK and currently experiencing significant growth.
Role Description:
The Regional Finance Manager shall support the Regional Manager and the Product Director in reaching business goals through professional and consistent financial deliveries. Finance Manger reports to EMEA regional manager with dotted line to Plant Product Line Director.

The Finance Manager will advise, challenge and support the Regional leadership team and the Plant Product Line Director in financial and business-related matters. As Finance Manager for the Region you will be managing a team of direct reports and indirect reports and ensure that the core financial processes are implemented efficiently throughout the organization.
In this position you will:
Actively support and assist the Regional Manager and other managers within the region in all commercial matters:
Be an active sparring partner for different parts of the business both in financial, commercial and operational matters
Be responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of financial planning and management for the Region, including manage the long- and short-term financial risks associated with the business in the Region
Provide financial support and analytics to region related to improvement initiatives, business cases, and strategic priorities
Be responsible for financial accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial analysis
Ensure that we handle our accounts in accordance with local legislations in each country where the Region has its operations
Ensure internal and external compliance by setting up control mechanisms in the Region as well as working with other units internally to ensure defined practices are being monitored and followed
Be responsible for data gathering, quality and documentation of the global Sales Commission scheme in close corporation with HR and management
Perform financial review of proposals and contracts
Manage own staff according to DNV leadership expectations in all areas
Support and manage the implementation and effective use of tools e.g. Sales Force, Oracle
Support Product Director with financial analysis, reporting and planning .
Monitor and report financial performance of Plant product Line, including sales, revenue and EBIT and suggest areas of improvement.
Support and provide financial input to pricing, new business models, new ways of product monetizing, and business cases.
Support larger bids and proposals with tactical pricing, optimizing the share of customer wallets over life cycle
Drive quarterly revenue, cost and EBIT forecasting in close collaborations with regions
Provide financial support to products business cases, development and innovation investments as well as special performance improvement projects
Prepare and participate in business review meetings on Product level
Position Qualifications:

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration studies or equivalent
Several years of relevant and varied experience from controllership and financial management
Ability to analyze business performance and identify concrete challenges and opportunities
Oracle and Sales Force competence are an advantage
Microsoft Excel high level skills
Power BI high level skills
Good overview of business operations and processes, and good understanding of revenue and cost drivers in different types of business models
Performance and target -driven

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English, written and spoken
