Vestas Northern and Central Europe (NCE) is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and CIS. The Project Planning Department is part of Vestas NCE Construction, responsible for planning of all proposed and signed projects within the region. We start working with key stakeholders inside and outside of the organisation right at the point of a sales opportunity and assist in providing quality construction schedules and planning to support our best offers to clients. We work in close collaboration with Project Managers, Business Managers, Supply Chain, Site Management and Service departments throughout the entire lifecycle of a project. We cover all NCE markets that expand from Northern Europe to Central Europe, Benelux in the West, and CIS in the East.
Type of projects vary from Supply only to Supply & Installation and EPC projects.Responsibilities
The Project Planner (f/m/d) is effectively supporting the Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure wind turbine installation projects are planned and carried out within the scope of the contract, on time and within budget. In this role the Project Planner will provide project planning, reporting and analysis support to the Project Management teams around NCE.Furthermore, your main responsibilities will include the ability to:
Create, maintain, and progress the overall resource loaded portfolio schedules in Oracle Primavera P6
Ensure that all schedules are fully integrated and resource-loaded to guarantee the accuracy of projected resourcing and staffing requirements
Monitor and update accurate schedule progress towards achieving the desired project completion date
Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts or dashboards, schedule analysis and status on KPIs performance
Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and events, prepare impacted schedules printouts and narratives
Organise and participate in weekly and monthly project reviews, planning and performance, hand-over and kick-off meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil/Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
3 years' experience in Planning, Scheduling, or Control in major projects of Energy or Heavy Infrastructure projects
Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects advantageous
You should have a good understanding of Construction Industry heavy equipment and subcontractor's management
CPM scheduling software Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM experience advantageous
Knowledge of SAP ERP, Linear Planning (Time Location tools), 4D Construction Planning, BIM and Project Control are preferred, but not required.
Certification by PMI or IPMA advantageous, however, understanding of these framework principles are highly preferred
Competencies
You should have solid verbal and written presentation skills
Great organisational abilities and technical mindset
Solid ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
Proficient in the MS Office 365 and willing to explore and develop skills in Power BI or SAP Analytical Cloud
You should be skilled within English both verbal and written and have great understanding of technical terms

This position requires up to 90 days of travel per year.
