Project Manager – RIG projects

Semco Maritime RIG Division is looking for an experienced Project Manager based at the head office in Esbjerg, with frequent visits to other locations. You will be the Project Manager for projects which are typically multi-disciplined and have a value of up to 30 million DKK.

As Project Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the execution of projects. This includes assuming full P/L responsibility and acting in accordance with our Semco Maritime leadership role model. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Group and Division strategy are implemented through the execution of projects.
Key responsibilities and tasks

Overall project management and follow up of all main areas – economy, quality, engineering, procurement, construction and installation.
Preparation of estimates, offers and calculations during the budget & quotation phase.
Acting as primary interface towards the clients.
Establishing a clear objective and ensuring a well-defined overall project scope, including work packages.
Establishing the required project organization from project to project by working with department heads and our resources department.
Ensuring implementation of Semco HSE instructions and standards.
Keeping Management and RIG finance department closely informed on the Key performance indicators
Keeping your project team informed of the project status, variation orders and other relevant changes to the contract
Responsible for development of project cost including preparing updated monthly forecasts
Preparing and following up on Client payments and cash flow.
Carrying out project planning and progress development to ensure timely deliveries.
Responsible for implementation of Semco Maritime’s Quality Management system.
Coordinating with Procurement on matters of warranty and commercial issues
Together with Procurement, ensuring a close follow up on subcontractor and sub-supplier’s performance.
Who we are looking for?
Professional competences:

A formal technical education eg. Marine Engineer, engineer or the equivalent.
Working experience at driving projects in the marine or offshore industries.
Good Commercial, negotiation and administrative skills
Personal competences:

Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Good project leadership abilities.
Good problem solving abilities.
Organized and self-driven.

You are mobile and willing to travel +50 days a year both nationally and internationally. The individual travel periods could encompass long stays and include weekends. Your main office and your important internal stakeholders are located in Esbjerg.
