Project Lead – Electrical Engineer

Semco Maritime is looking for an experienced electrical engineer / Project Lead based at the head office in Esbjerg, and with frequent visits to other locations.

Key responsibilities and tasks

You will be the focal point towards our customer. The role requires that you ensure good management of the project with delivery on time, on budget and in the right quality and executed safely according HSE&Q policies. The tasks include:

Design and execution of both single and multi-discipline projects (site surveys, estimates/quoting, all aspects with in electrical, instrumentation and telecom, coordination, PTW preparation, etc.)
Organise and perform day-to-day management of the project team (planning, budgets, quality, resources)
Liaise with other contractors (i.e. structural, piping, scaffold, carpenters ect.)
Correct manning/mobilization
Who we are looking for

You have oil and gas or marine experience, preferably from offshore or shipyards. You have a relevant professional background (degree in electrical engineering). We expect the ideal candidate to have the following qualities and skills:

Sales- and service oriented
Project Management experience
Proactive and flexible approach to work
Experience with shipyard and construction
Electrical Engineering, HV / LV / automation systems.
Good communication skills
Fluent in English

You are mobile and willing to travel +40 days a year both nationally and internationally. The individual travel periods could encompass long stays and incl. weekends.
