Description
We are seeking a motivated and competent Post Fixture Manager that will be responsible for results achieved from all tankers and dry bulk post fixture activities within the company. You will be involved in all aspects of Post Fixture. The position is organized within the Operations Department, collaborating with the Commercial and Financial Departments. You will have a high degree of autonomy to make decisions relevant to commercial and contractual terms, within national and international legislation, company policies and procedures.
The tasks will include:Develop standard forms for use in charter party claim calculationsTankers lay time and charter party claims calculationNegotiate on disputes of lay time and charter party claimsHandling legal proceedings of lay time and charter party claimsDemurrage and charter party claims invoicing and collectionHandling and checking of port disbursements as required in Hub Agency SystemFollow up commissions related to claimsMaintenance of voyage files and voyage data systemMaintenance of Post Fixture administration database and system
Qualifications:Proven track record in tankers lay time, demurrage, and charter party claimsGood attention to detailsGood knowledge of shipping documentation, including tankers charter partiesGood knowledge/interest and experience in shipping legal issuesHigh degree of computer literacyExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishSelf-motivated and self-starter
