We are now looking for a

Permit Manager, DK Offshore Wind

to manage permit processes during the development, construction and operational phases of our Danish offshore wind projects. The role is expected to be based in Kolding. Experience of permitting in relation to onshore works would be an advantage.
This role will require effective communication with relevant authorities and stakeholders, and the wider project team, and so it is expected that the applicant will be fluent in Danish and English.
The Permit Manager will work as part of Business Area Wind’s ‘Consenting’ team which brings together offshore wind permitting and consultation expertise from across the markets in which we operate.

Your Responsibilities as a Permit Manager, DK Offshore Wind
Working with our Senior Permit Manager and the Project Team, you will oversee permit processes during the development, construction and operational phases of our offshore wind projects and related onshore transmission works.
Depending on our projects, your work could include: support to bid managers in compiling tenders for new offshore wind projects; management of consultants undertaking environmental impact assessments and permit applications; co-ordination of engagement with relevant authorities and technical stakeholders; provision of relevant plans / documents to authorities; advice to project team to ensure projects are built in line with permits; negotiations of permit changes if required; handover of permit obligations from project delivery to Generation; provision of advice on decommissioning.
You will closely work together with the different project packages during the development and construction of the wind farm, as well as with our Health and Safety, Environment and Sustainability and Communication teams, and so good co-operation with your Vattenfall colleagues will be essential.
Throughout the process, the Permit Manager will be required to understand the risks associated with the permit and work with the project team to put in place strategies to reduce these risks.
You will be required to promote a safety-conscious and sustainable environment.

Your Qualifications as a Permit Manager, DK Offshore Wind
Candidates should have:
A degree in a relevant discipline
At least 3- 5 years of experience in a relevant field
Drive and ambition
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Danish and English)
A wish to work in a (international) multi-disciplinary team / team working skills
An awareness of renewable energy policy and its impact on project development

Previous experience of working within the offshore wind industry is an advantage but is not required.
