Open position:
We are looking for a Seafarer Payroll Specialist.
The main purpose of this role is to prepare seafarer payroll calculations as well as reporting and documentation to authorities and masters' cash accounting amongst others.
You will be working with a great team of professionals in a truly international maritime environment, your main place of work will be Bore's Helsinki headquarters. Based on your background you can also support the team with other departmental processes.
Competence requirements:
Professional background from payroll, accounting or seafaring
Relevant academic qualifications from either payroll, accounting, financial administration or seafaring
Experience of end to end payroll is an advantage
Knowledge of maritime CBAs is an advantage
Aptitude for details and numbers
IT skills, solid know-how of Microsoft office tools
Adequate fluency in English, Swedish and Finnish is an advantage
Flexibility and ability to work under time pressure
Team player with good interpersonal skills
