We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Sales Project Manager to be located at our office in Vejle/Brande, Denmark, to provide world class, professional project sales execution - on top, on target, on time! As our new Offshore Service Sales Project Manager a part of the role, will include driving the negotiation of service, maintenance and warranty contracts and opportunities of the new offshore wind projects that Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will have.
How to contribute to our vision
You responsibilities will include managing our solution packages and offers in response to customer’s requests for tenders and subsequently for negotiating the supply contracts, including internal coordination towards the Global Sales team, Service Regional Headquarters, Service Engineering, Service Supply Chain, Product Line, Service Global Product Management and Development, Contract Management.
Externally you will liaise with customers, external advisors and lawyers, bank representatives, wind associations and government bodies. You will be instrumental in motivating the sales team throughout the process and for creating a frame for success in a highly paced and very professional environment.
You will play a key role in motivating, supporting and developing a high performing sales project teams in adherence to Siemens Gamesa’s sales processes. You will furthermore be reporting on sales activities in organization by utilization and maintenance of existing IT tools such as CRM and ensure successful handover to project management upon contract signature
The position will require you to identify and develop opportunities for assigned projects and/or accounts as appropriate, further responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for the sales project during the sales phase
Responsibility for timely, competitive and compliant submission of tenders to customers including negotiation and conclusion of customer contracts
Understanding customer business case requirements and developing bid/negotiation strategies, ensuring that customer requirements are reflected in both costing and negotiations strategy
Maintain and develop contacts and relationship with customers on all levels and identify important stakeholders
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. The ideal candidate has an academical background in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or comparable education with extensive professional experience. You have international service project sales experience, preferably in the (wind) energy or construction industry. You have experience of, and responsibility for, complex service sales (project) management in multicultural teams and with highly professional customers and experience with multi-contracting in large projects.

Have excellent contractual understanding and negotiation skills
Have excellent communication
Have people management skills and ability to motivate and engage team members/colleagues
Are willing to travel and work in a global environment
Are fluent (speaking, reading, writing) in the English language, and any other language is beneficial
