Valuing our people is what makes us one global team, with our colleagues’ safety at the heart of our organization.We, at the Offshore Proposal Department within Offshore Service, are looking for an Offshore Service Proposal Manager who will be responsible for bid related activities and technical schedules during the tendering phase with respect to an effective sales process for an assigned organizational unit or customer target group, concerning both sales and after-sales processes. The team is placed in Vejle, Denmark, but we’re extremely flexible when it comes to when and where you want to work.
How to contribute to our vision
During your workday, you will be responsible for performing the cost calculations using the approved tools to reflect internal costs basis, supplier/subcontractor prices and margins in line with business targets. You will also be reviewing invitations to tenders and specifications to determine customer requirements.
You need to be able to understand the project drivers and then ensure that all the deliverables are products in accordance with the tender program by participating in customer meetings and drive internal co-ordination alignments. You can also develop the most competitive technical solution and scope for an offshore tender project, and you will be responsible for technical schedules in the contract here under participate in customer negotiations.
Furthermore, you can interface with key-experts and product / marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes. And lastly, you can ensure continuous developments and maintenance of excellent working relationships with internal expert functions (Operations, Logistics, Service, Engineering etc.) as well as external client counterparties.
What you need to make a difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. You have about 3-5 years' experience in finance or similar, and you have experience with multicultural environments and therefore the ability to adapt to situations that occur in a global organization.
Furthermore, you need:
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in renewable energy is an advantage
You are customer-orientated and have a service-minded approach to your work. You are also meticulous and someone who can deliver information clearly and concisely without ambiguity.
You can be flexible with your time and make things happen even if it gets a little heated.
You need to have excellent English skills, both written and spoken. Danish skills are not a requirement as English is the company language, but a little Danish is useful in social situation.
