DNV Product Assurance AS is a global TIC (Test, Inspection and Certification) company specialized in equipment for potential explosive atmospheres and medical devices. We are an appointed Notified Body (NB) for the ATEX directive and Certification Body under the IECEx Scheme.Engineer EQUIPMENT FOR USE IN EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHEREThe business area EX-equipment is continuously growing and expanding its service offerings. We are now looking for a new colleague who can contribute and support further growth in the following areas: Testing and certification of Ex-equipment• Assessment of equipment and systems according to international standards and certification schemes. Evaluation and design control of products according to EN/IEC 60079 series• Perform product testing at the manufacturer’s site• Testing on equipment in our laboratory at Høvik• Participating in technical committees related to the role as Notified Body and Certification Body• Customer visits related to the evaluation of products• Witness of testing performed by manufacturers of Ex equipment• Technical discussions with customers and colleagues• Participate in sales-related meetings with customersTechnical inspection service• Inspection of equipment according to relevant standards on offshore and onshore installations with respect to Ex equipment and installations. • Electrical Engineer, Technician, Bachelor of science within (power generation / electronics /automation / instrumentation etc.)• Experience regarding EX-equipment and /or standards and regulations• Experience from project work/project management with respect to customer handling and communication • Experience related to inspection work on Ex equipment offshore and onshore. • Structured, Positive, Ability to work independently and high focus on details. • Good communication skills and customer focus• Fluent in Norwegian and good English communication skills DNV Product Assurance AS offers:• Varied tasks and challenging technical assignments • Great colleagues who value teamwork and support• Employment in a company with strong brands in the compliance business, representing valued standards of integrity and quality• Relevant work location in Stavanger with beautiful working location by the sea• 30 days annual vacation Interested applicants should send their cover letter and CV in English.
